Los Osos
Los Osos is a serene town with a population of 15,000 people that has been steadily increasing. It is ranked the second-best place to raise a family in San Luis Obispo County with a credible school district. The restaurant life is impressive with everything from Thai cuisine to French crepe shops proximal to residents. Fresh produce and artisan goods are available at the afternoon farmer’s market where locals gather. One of its most popular destinations is Montana de Oro State Park with its bluff trails and breathtaking sunset views. There are plenty of outdoor adventures at the Oak State Reserve, Elfin Forest Reserve, and Sweet Springs Nature Preserve. From the Baywood Park boardwalk, you can see the unique flora of the region and boats sailing out from the shore. Los Osos is appreciated for its safe community and year-round beauty.
